Funeral services will be in 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Isreal Mitchell, 72, who entered eternal rest, Monday, May 28, 2012 in Opelousas, LA.

Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his family, two sisters, Bernadine Mitchell of Opelousas, LA and Lillie Jane Stevens of Houston, TX; a special friend, Willie Mae Williams of Opelousas, LA; five step-children and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mt. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Josie Mitchell; his wife, Ethel Mitchell; a brother, Willie Mitchell, Jr. and a sister, Betty Mitchell.

Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
