Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Melville, LA, for Marion Benford, 70, who entered eternal rest, Monday, July 9, 2012 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.

Interment will be in Sweet Home Cemetery in Melville, LA. Rev. William Harnsberry will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Benford is survived by her husband, Willie Benford of Melville, LA; two sons, Johnathan Benford of Melville, LA and Jason Benford (Latoya) of Plaisance, LA; a daughter, Kendra Benford of Melville, LA; two sisters, Leona Williams and Annie Stevenson both of Melville, LA; a grandson, Benjamin Benford of Plaisance, LA and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Mrs. Benford was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy & Carrie D. Williams; two sisters, Carrie Lamark and Roenna Williams and two brothers, Leroy Williams and Elisha Williams.

Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Melville, LA.
