Barbara Ann White “Bob / Bobbie” Opelousas – Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, 217 Highway 10 (Nuba), for Barbara Ann White, “Bob/ Bobbie”, 80, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 23, 2025, in Opelousas General Health System surrounded by family and loved ones. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev. Darrin Moore, Pastor of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church of Spring, TX will officiate the Celebration of Life. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy, children: Timothy “Tim” White of Villa Rica, GA, Patrick White (Dr. Crystal Watson) of Klein, TX and Jacqueline White of Jonesboro, GA; brother Antoine White, III of Opelousas, LA; sisters: Dorothy “Dot” Franklin, Patricia Fontenot and Dorothy Joachin “Lil Dot” all of Opelousas, LA, Sharon White of Lake Charles, LA and Antoinette Roberts (Greg) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Whitney Edmond, Riverdale , GA, Bryanna Edmond of East Point, GA, Timothy Jaylin White of College Park, GA, Laila Onwuka and Channing “CJ” Onwuka both of Riverdale, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine White, Jr. and Lizzie “Popine” Thomas, Rose Mary White “Chupeen”, Gabriel Thomas, Larry Thomas, Sr. The family requests visiting hours be observed on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 8:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Nuba.
