IN LOVING MEMORY OF BETTY JOLIVETTE Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, in Opelousas for Betty Lou Jolivette. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, S.V.D., Pastor of Holy Ghost Catholic Church will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Betty Lou Jolivette was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on November 15, 1948, to Bernice and Darrell Jolivette of Opelousas, la. She graduated from Holy Ghost Catholic High School in 1966 and was a Geographical Analyst as a profession. She passed on May 1, 2023, she leaves behind two sons Mikey Evans (wife, Angela) and Darrell Evans. Two grandchildren; Paris Evans and Laila Evans and three siblings Ruby, Jeanette, and Eugene Jolivette. She loved cooking and enjoyed family. She was very kind, caring and was a generous mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to everyone that knew her, she had a big heart and would do anything she could to help others. Now that I’m gone, remember me with smiles and laughter because I walk in grace. When you need me put your arms around anyone and give to them what I’d give you. There are so many who need so much. I want to leave so much more than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I’ve known or helped in some special way. Let me live in your heart as well as in your mind. You can love me most by letting your love reach out to others, love doesn’t die. So, when all is said and done, always love. I love you all. I’m always here.
