Mrs. Carla Marie Thomas Clark Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. Mrs. Carla Marie Thomas Clark, 59, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Lafayette General Medical Hospital. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. Mrs. Carla Marie Thomas Clark is survived by her father, Leroy Thomas Sr., of Opelousas, LA; her husband, James Clark, of Lafayette, LA; her son, Herbert Clark (Alexis), of Lafayette, LA; three daughters, Aja Fontenette (Travis), of St. Martinville, LA, Chalisa Clark of Lafayette, LA, and Jamesha Jeanlouis of St. Martinville, LA; five granddaughters, Kortland and Rhionnona Jeanlouis of Loreauville, LA, Kloee Fontenette of St. Martinville, LA, Eryn Clark of Carencro, LA, Aria Clark of Lafayette, LA; three grandsons, Karon Jeanlouis of Lafayette, LA, Ricardo Jeanlouis Jr. of Loreauville, LA, and Travis Fontenette Jr. of St. Martinville, LA; one great-granddaughter, Indiya Reign Marie Faye Bell of Loreauville, LA; four sisters, Marie Thomas of Folk Polk, LA, Catherine Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Trica Thomas of Lafayette, LA, Chandra Lazare (Dwain) of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Leroy Thomas Jr. (Terrah) of Houston, TX; two sisters-in-law, Antoinette Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Jeanette Clark of Opelousas, LA; five bonus granddaughters, Deloney Washington, Leilah StJulien, London StJulien, Madison StJulien, and Aubree Adams all of Lafayette, LA; three bonus grandsons, Tristen Peterson, Myles StJulien, and Mason StJulien all of Lafayette, LA; three aunts, Marcelette Reed (Joseph) of Opelousas, LA, Eula Reed of Opelousas, LA and Mary Ethel Roberts of San Antonio, TX; one uncle, John Bob, Sr. (Elaine) of Ruston, LA and a host of great aunts, nieces, nephews, and God children. Mrs. Carla Marie Thomas Clark was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Bob Thomas; father & mother-in-law, Gilbert & Mericedes Clark; her brother, Kevin Thomas Sr.; two brothers-in-law, Sidney Clark and Wilbert Clark; one son-in-law, Ricardo Jeanlouis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Herbert & Lorena Charles Thomas; maternal grandparents, Cleveland & Mary Henry Bob; one niece, Lyric Thomas; one great niece, Treasur Thibodeaux and three sisters-in-law, Olivia Pickney, Denessa Clark and Clara J. Clark. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Williams Funeral Home.
