Saturday, January 7, 2012 at True Vine Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, LA., for JB. Joubert, age, 60, who entered eternal rest, Monday, December 26, 2011, at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in True Vine Baptist Cemetery in Grand Prairie, LA. Mr. Joubert is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Coleman Joubert of Opelousas, LA.; his mother-in-law, Isabelle Coleman of Opelousas, LA.; a daughter, Adrienne Joubert of Oklahoma City, OK.; two step-sons, Tyrone Sias (Willa) and Don Roby (La’Quana) both of Opelousas, LA.; a step-daughter, De’Shon Roby (Jerry) of Oklahoma City, OK., seven brothers, Samuel Joubert of Port Allen, LA., Fremont Joubert, II. (Brenda) of Opelousas, LA., Donald Joubert, Sr. (Joan) of Plaisance, LA., Joshua Joubert (Allison) of San Antonio, TX., C.L. Joubert, Ricky Joubert both of Washington, LA., and Bobby Joubert (Sherie) of Opelousas, LA.; four sisters, Elsie Joubert of Baton Rouge, LA., Jenella Joubert of Washington, LA., Renella Ennis (Jan) of Baton Rouge, LA. and Vesta Fields of Opelousas, LA.; a sister-in-law, Mary Joubert of Baton Rouge, LA.; two special nephews, Charles Jackson (Barbara) of Opelousas, LA. and Harold Joubert (Debra) of Baton Rouge, LA.; a special niece, Gwendolyn Boagni (Calvin) of Opelousas, LA.; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Mr. Joubert was preceded in death by his parents, Fremont Joubert & Vera Pitre Joubert; a step-mother, Ollie Williams Joubert; three brothers, J.Y. Joubert, Wilford Joubert and Rev. Roosevelt Joubert (Madeline); a sister, Jeanie Joubert and niece, Judy Gail Jackson. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
