JOHN CARMON August 9, 1935 to May 15, 2010 Lebeau, Louisiana Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Lebeau, Louisiana, for Mr. John Carmon, 74, heaven’s gates were waiting for his arrival, on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Kindered Medical Center, in Fort Worth, Texas. Rev. Walter Cerbin, S.S.F. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. Mr. Carmon resided in Port Arthur, Texas for over 30 years, where he was employed by Port Iron and Supply as a Crane Operator. He later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and married Alice Williams. There he was employed by Union Pacific Railroad as a Bridge Operator for over 20 years. He was the founder and president of Super Cruisers Motorcycle Club of New Orleans. Mourning his departure, while cherishing his fond memories, are his children, two sons, John Carmon, Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas and Darrell Keith Carmon of Fort Worth, Texas; one step-son, Darrell Johnson of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Deborah Carmon-Coleman (Ernest) of Fort Worth, Texas; one step-daughter, Angela Johnson of New Orleans, Louisiana; four brothers, Preston Carmon, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Cecil Carmon of Palmetto, Louisiana, Whitney Carmon of Palmetto, Louisiana and Kenneth Carmon (Charlotte) of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Ida Harris of Dequincy, Louisiana, Margie Shaw, Mildred Thomas, Augusta Rideau (Michael), Betty Rideau (John) all of Palmetto, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Miller Shield, II (Celeste) of Jacksonville, Florida, Afronika Molina of Fort Worth, Texas and Darrell Carmon, II of Mansfield, Texas; seven step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; former wife, Climie Green Carmon of Port Arthur, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends. Mr. Carmon was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Williams Carmon; parents, Preston Carmon, Sr. & Mazel Chambers Carmon and a brother, Clarence Carmon. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Lebeau, Louisiana.
