Mrs. Lee Belle Ned A Mass of Catholic Burial for Mrs. Lee Belle Ned, 88, will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA, who entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, surrounded by the prayers and love of her family. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM at the church, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:00 AM. The Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Stanley Jawa, SVD, will serve as celebrant for the Mass. Lee Belle is survived by two sons, Carl Ned (Jeanne) and Christopher Ned (Cora); four adoptive sons, Kevin Richardson, Dexter Thomas Ned, Arthur Citizen and Jacody Robinson Ned; three daughters, Cynthia Marie Jackson (Reggie), Christina Marie Underwood (Lee) and Angela Theresa Jordan; one sister, Florence Payne (John) and one brother, Malcolm Frank. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, April Crable (Timothy), Latoya Eli, Carlette Walkabout (Daniel), Oleviya James (Aijalon), DeQuida Ned, Derrius Ned, Corinna Sloan (Dennis), Marissa Crespo (Joshua), Shana Ned, Spencer Ned (Ashley), Zachary Ned (Erika), Braxton Underwood, Brittanie Underwood and Taylor Jordan; Great grandchildren, Kennedy Crable, Jordan Duplechain, Christopher Freeman, II, Sidney Freeman, Trae Arnaud, Javion Clay, Kylann Comeaux, Arriana Eli, Braxton Ned, Zachary Ned, Alexander Ned, Trey Walkabout, Brielle Walkabout, Chance Walkabout, Morani James, Taj James, Ari James, Nhazi James, Wren Ned, Onai Ned, Noah Sloan, Ezekiel Crespo, Kane Crespo, Kyro Crespo, Xavier Crespo, Tiana Ned, Gia Ned, Elijah Ned, Zalia Ned, Damian Ned, Zerena Ned and Maci Ned; one great-great grandchild, Lae’Ianni Arnaud and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Mr. Wilken Joseph Ned; one daughter, Alisha Marie Eli; one adopted son, Johnny Richardson, Jr.; one grandson, Phillip Eli, Jr.; a special friend, Joseph Edwards; her life companion, Henry McClain, Jr.; parents, Lee Frank and Leaster Simon Frank; seven brothers, Sherman Frank, Francis Frank, Lawrence Frank, MacArthur Frank, Joshua Frank, Herbert Frank and James Frank; five sisters, Edith Nell Gray, Mary Ann Thomas, Joyce Frank, Doretha Frank and Edna Davis.
