Randolph Thomas Darjean

Mr. Randolph Darjean Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana, for Randolph Thomas Darjean, age 65, who entered eternal rest Friday, June 10, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. Father Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. Randolph Thomas Darjean was born December 1, 1945, to Francis Darjean and Vertie Chaisson Darjean in Lawtell, LA. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Priscilla Ann Auzenne on April 17, 1971. From this union four children were born. They were married for forty happy years. Randolph served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a warehouse supervisor in Thailand. He was a self employed brick mason and local business owner for over 38 years. Randolph leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife of forty years, Priscilla Auzenne Darjean; his son Bradley James Darjean of Annapolis, MD; four daughters, Felicia Tyler Darjean of Opelousas, LA; Dawna Darjean Jones (Chauncey) of Houston, TX; Denise Darjean Auzenne (Corey) of Sunset, LA; Christine Marie Darjean of Lafayette, LA; seven grandchildren, Sophia Tyler Francis (Brian); Victor Alexander Darjean; Victoria Michelle Darjean; Jackson Corey Auzenne; Chase Darjean Jones; Ava Alise Jones and Marleigh Priscilla Auzenne; three great grandchildren, Orion Justin Tyler; Abbiana Marie Francis and Kelijah John Francis; three sisters, Olivia Darjean, Geraldine Pierre-Auguste (Alvin) and Lauris Jordan (Carlton), all of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Herbert Darjean (Alexine) of Houston, TX. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Vertie Darjean; two sisters, Brenda White and Bertha Bihm; and three brothers, Dallas Darjean; Charles Darjean and Rodney Darjean. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
