Mrs. Toi Antoinette Lazard Smith Funeral services celebrating the beautiful life and cherished memory of Mrs. Toi Antoinette Lazard Smith, 33, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. Mrs. Smith entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, treasured memories and a lasting impact on the lives of all who knew and loved her. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday morning from 7:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, SVD, will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Mr. Calvin Smith of Ville Platte, LA; her mother, Ms. Shannon Lazard of Opelousas, LA; maternal grandmother, Ms. Mary Jane Lazard of Lawtell, LA; three brothers, Travis Hall, Reginald Lazard (Ebony) both of Opelousas, LA and Adrian Lazard, Sr. (Sharee) of Lafayette, LA; four sisters, Kelly Hall (Josh) of Opelousas, LA, Nieshia Lazard Wiltz (Cesal) of St. Martinville, LA, Jasmine Lazard (Steven) and Tori Lazard (Joseph) both of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by three godsons, Derion Lazard, Cameron Mekhi Wiltz and Quintin Jamal Hicks, Jr.; three goddaughters, Adrianna Lazard, Jaslyn Coleman and Shae’Von Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bobby” Gailes; paternal grandparents, Louis and Helen Gailes; maternal grandfather, Arthur Lee “Gabby” Jones; maternal great grandparents, Wilfred Lazard, Sr. and Ophelia R. Lazard; her godfather and uncle, McKinley J. “Shawee” Lazard; godmother, Jolisa Roberson; one uncle, Joseph Tyrone Gailes; mother-in-law, Emma Smith; father-in-law, Calvin Anderson and her brother-in-law, Ashley “Budda” Smith.
