Clementine Auzenne Pickens Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 747 N. Union Street, Opelousas, LA for Clementine Auzenne Pickens, 87, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park, 4833 Hwy 182 S., Opelousas, LA. Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, S.V.D., Pastor of Holy Ghost Catholic Church will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Clementine leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy, her children: Arthur Pickens, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Michael Fontenot (Julianna) of Dublin, OH, Rosemary Green (Thoni) of St. Rosa LA, Dianna Payne (Leon) and Barbara Butler (Joseph) both of Opelousas, LA and Toni Kirby of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Nathan Auzenne of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter-in-law, Linda Pickens of Opelousas, LA; (25) grandchildren, (64) great grandchildren, (29) great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Clementine was preceded in death by her parents, Meddrick Auzenne and Edmonia Charles Auzenne, her husband Arthur Pickens, Sr., son, Michael Pickens, Sr., daughter, Ella Mae Hill, grandsons, Wilton Dunbar, Jr. and Gregory Washington, Jr., granddaughter, Chantelle Boutte, brothers: Antoine and Raoul Auzenne, sisters, Enez Cretain and Vitoria Lewis, sons-in-law: Wilton Dunbar, Sr., Charles Hill and Gregory Washington, Sr. The family requests visiting hours be observed on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA, 817 E. South Street, and continuing on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 7:00 A.M. to 11:35 A.M.
