Mr. Corey Sampson Rosette, Jr. “CJ” Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Corey “CJ” Rosette, Jr., 26, who entered eternal rest, Monday, February 14, 2022 in Opelousas, LA. Mr. Rosette is survived by his parents, Akecia Jason Shaw and Corey Rosette both of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Mikal Andrus and Tyler Bell both of Opelousas, LA; three sisters, Keoisha Malbrough, Kendra Shaw and Heaven Townsend all of Opelousas, LA; grandparents, Renella Fontenot of Lebeau, LA, Annie Rosette Reed, Joseph R. Reed and Sam Lloyd all of Opelousas, LA; three nephews, Jamason Hicks, Kayden Valmont and Noah Malbrough all of Opelousas, LA and a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Rosette was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Fontenot; great grandparents, Olla Lastrapes, Hazel Pierre-Auguste, Felman Jason, Dallas Lazard and Annie Mae Rosette. Visiting hours will be observed from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
