Ms. Cynthia Marie Rubin Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Cynthia Marie Rubin, 52, who entered eternal rest, Friday, March 11, 2022 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev. Lionel Rubin will officiate the service. Ms. Rubin is survived by her parents, Ella Rubin & Henry Patterson of Opelousas, LA; a son, Shaquille Rubin of Bentley, LA; a daughter, Charlsie Rubin of Opelousas, LA; six brothers, Leslie Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Kenyon Duncan of Baton Rouge, LA, Henry Patterson of Opelousas, LA, Vernon Pitts of Opelousas, LA, Chadrick Patterson of Swords, LA and Derrick Patterson of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Stephanie Berry of Houston, TX and Sylvia Patterson of Tallahassee, FL; two aunts, Shirley Rubin and Annie Joubert both of Opelousas, LA; an uncle, Robert Rubin of Opelousas, LA; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ms. Rubin was preceded in death by her father, Leslie White; a brother, Leslie Sam; maternal grandparents, Robert & Floycee Rubin; a cousin, Larry Joubert; nine uncles and three aunts. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
