Ms. Debra Faye Sonnier A service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Debra Faye Sonnier, 57, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Ms. Sonnier is survived by two sons, Dustin Sonnier and Desmond Sonnier both of Opelousas, LA; a daughter, Flower Thierry of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Lawrence Sonnier, Jr. of Opelousas, LA and Clifton James Sonnier of Seattle, WA; five sisters, Sherline Boutte (Joseph) of Opelousas, LA, Deinari Sam of Lafayette, LA, Lisa Sonnier of Opelousas, LA, Syvina Sonnier Demouchet (Everette) of Lafayette, LA and Katrina Ward (Harold) of Opelousas, LA; two uncles, Herbert Sonnier (Annette) and James Sonnier (Geneva) both of Opelousas, LA; five grandchildren, Tyler Thierry, Tralyn Thierry, Taylor Thierry, Lia Thierry and Tralon Patterson; three Godchildren, Tiffany Patterson, Daniel Lazard, Jr. and Keisha Sonnier; four special friends, Betty Thomas, Virge, Vette and Jackie Perrodin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ms. Sonnier was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sonnier, Sr. and Thelma Thomas Sonnier; a sister, Linda Marie Sonnier; uncles and aunts, Joseph Sonnier, Clement Sonnier, Edward Sonnier, Victoria Jackson, Barbara Sonnier, Laura Lastie, Edward Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Jules Thomas, Junior Thomas, Rosalee Berry and Ora Lee Thomas; grandparents, Clifton and Savannah Sonnier and Azeliel Batiste Thomas and Leo Paul Thomas.
