Ms. Delores Charles Batiste Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Delores Charles Batiste, 66, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev. Willis Washington will officiate the services. Ms. Batiste is survived by a daughter, Desiree Charles (Kendrell) of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Loretta Washington (Willis) of TX; four grandchildren, Justin Charles, David Johnson, Jasmine Jones (Jeret) and Dominique Johnson (Nick); one Godchild, Kiniadrae Richard; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ms. Batiste was preceded in death by in death by her husband, James Lemand Batiste; her parents, Joseph Harry Charles & Odelia Thomas Charles; a sister, Mary Alice Ledeff and a brother, Terry Lee Charles. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
