Mr. Derrick Parish Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Opelousas Life Church, for Mr. Derrick Parish, 48. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park Mr. Parish is survived by two daughters, Kendracia Castille of Houston, TX and Kendeianna Parish of Opelousas, LA; one son, Trae Wilson of Opelousas, LA; one step-son, Kendrick Castille of Houston, TX; two brothers, Jerome Wilford and Royricus Ridley both of Baton Rouge, LA; five sisters, Wendy Walker (Troy), Caroline Williams (James), Monique Lockett (Carl), Myrtis Jackson all of Baton Rouge, LA and Heather Parish of Opelousas, LA; a special cousin, Lavonda Semien; three grandchildren and one expecting grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Parish was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Parish and Jesse Wilford; a brother, Jesse Wilford, Jr.; grandparents, Kelly & Sedonia Parish and Jesse & Susan Wilford; three nephews, Ramond Wilford, Shawn Parish and Malik Parish; three aunts, Leola, Thelma and Latrice Parish and an uncle, Retel Parish. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home.
