Mr. Edmond Emile Reed Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bellevue Street Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Edmond Emile Reed, 49, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park with Military Honors. Rev. Johnny Offord will officiate at the services. Mr. Reed is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Kimberlee Currans Reed of Opelousas, LA; his parents, Larry Reed & Glenda Cole Reed of Opelousas, LA; special grandparents, Edmond Jones, Sr. & Rosie Lee Jones of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Anegra St. Julien (Tracey, Sr.) of New Iberia, LA, Jessica Shepherd (Ken) of Addis, LA, Angela Reed Thomas (John Kasey) and Jacqulyn Reed both of Sunset, LA; five nephews, Jobey Reed (Shamonte) of New Iberia, LA, Jeremy Carron, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, Tracey St. Julien, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Jyron Carron of Youngsville, LA and Jace Thomas of Sunset, LA; four nieces, Ce’Rael Moss (Klifford) of Youngsville, LA, Trah’Nae St. Julien of New Iberia, LA, Goddaughter, Aila Thomas and Henli Grace Thomas both of Sunset, LA; his Godfather, Rev. Edmond Blouin, Jr. of Brookshire, TX; his father and mother-in-law, Don & Sharron Currans of Houston, TX; step mother-in-law, Jamie Alexander of New Orleans, LA and a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ollie Reed, Sr. & Anna Green Reed; maternal grandparents, Ben Cole & Willie Mae Blouin Cole; one uncle, Major Reed; four aunts, Debra C. Grimble, Lois Reed, Nova Smith and Caroline Arvie. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bellevue Street Baptist Church.
