Mr. John "Pucky" Lawrence Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. John “Pucky” Lawrence Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, July 16, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mr. John “Pucky” Lawrence, 53, who entered eternal rest, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery. Father Mark Kramer will officiate the Mass of Christian burial. Mr. Lawrence is survived by his mother, Ella M. Lawrence of Sunset, LA; two brothers, Paul Lawrence (Debra) of Benton, LA and Eugene Lawrence (Delores) of Sunset, LA; five sisters, Patricia Briscoe (John) of Carencro, LA, Barbara Lawrence, Alida Lawrence both of Sunset, LA, Judy Lawrence and Linda Faye John (Ian) both of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Lawrence, Sr.; two sisters, Rose Briscoe and JoAnn Lawrence; one brother, Floyd Henry; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Mary Smith Minix and paternal grandparents, Charlie and Alida Lawrence. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
