Mr. Rideau is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Briscoe Rideau of Opelousas, LA; two children, Latanya Jennings and Caressia Yarde both of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Adam Rideau, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Albert Rideau (Evelyn) of Lafayette, LA and John Rideau (Mary) of Port Barre, LA; five sisters, Mary Metz of Opelousas, LA, Mary Fuselier of Sunset, LA, Mildred Rideau of Opelousas, LA, Lillian Savoy (Irvian) of Opelousas, LA and Pamela Bourque of Opelousas, LA; three grandchildren, Tattianna Yarde, Hattie Broussard (Travis) and Haden Jennings; two great grandchildren, Eli Broussard and Gianna Yarde and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Rideau was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Rideau, Jr.; parents, Adam Rideau, Sr. & Florence Mallet Rideau; four siblings, Anna Marie Rideau, Lois Rideau Thomas, Rodney Rideau and Michael Rideau.
