Mr. Kirby Thomas, Sr. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Matthews Baptist Cemetery in Ville Platte, LA, for Mr. Kirby Thomas, Sr., 92, who entered eternal rest, Friday, July 31, 2020 at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur, LA. Rev. Tate Ardoin will officiate the service. Mr. Thomas is survived by two sons, Kirby Thomas, Jr. of Mamou, LA and Jimmy J. Robert of Daytona Beach, FL; three daughters, Lucy Mae Doucet of Ville Platte, LA, Ella Bell of Marrero, LA and Elsie Mae Lewis of Mamou, LA; two brothers, Herbert Thomas of Eunice, LA and Early Thomas of Crowley, LA; two sisters, Geneva Tezeno and Grace Thomas both of Crowley, LA; fourteen grandchildren, fifty one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mae Thomas; parents, Joseph & Lillian Thomas; siblings, Lauris Thomas, Leo Thomas, Horace Thomas, Geraldine Tezeno, Eula Celestine and Lola Malbrew.
