Mrs. Lena C. "Maw - Maw" Charles Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mrs. Lena C. "Maw - Maw" Charles, 78, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her residence in Sunset, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Mrs. Charles is survived by a special daughter whom she reared from a toddler, Linda Charles Vaultz (Larry) of Sunset, LA; a sister, Mary C. Marcell of Breaux Bridge, LA; three grandchildren, Timothy Martin of Lafayette, LA, Desaree Vaultz of Sunset, LA and Alechia Vaultz (Eric) of Lafayette, LA; six great grandchildren; three Godchildren, Joseph Leroy Collins, Jacoby Barnaba and Delores Noel (Donald) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Charles was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Charles; parents, Sam Collins and Bertha Prince Collins; a sister, Viola Davis and a step-sister, Lilly Robert. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
