Mr. Leopold A. “Tag” Frilot, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at St. Anne Chapel in the community of Frilot Cove, for Mr. Leopold A. “Tag” Frilot, Sr., 84, who entered eternal rest, Monday, August 31, 2020 at his residence. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery in Frilot Cove. Father Taj Glodd will officiate the Mass of Christian burial. Mr. Frilot is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Auzenne Frilot of Frilot Cove, LA; a son, Leopold A. Frilot, Jr. (Donna) of Baton Rouge, LA; a daughter, Melissa Frilot Gordon (Allen) of Opelousas, LA; three grandchildren, Nichole Gordon Miller (Dustin) of Opelousas, LA, Leopold “Leo” Frilot, III and Julian Frilot both of Baton Rouge, LA; a sister, Elaine Frilot Griffith (Jack) of Coarsegold, CA; five great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Frilot was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer & Elizabeth Battin Frilot; three sisters, Magdalene “Joyce” Alsandor, Barbara Ann Floyd and Rose Mary Wallace and a grandson, Lance C. Gordon. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at St. Anne Chapel.
