Mr. Lionel Rideau Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Lionel Rideau, 61, who entered eternal rest, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Mr. Rideau is survived by two children, Jamarcus Stelly and Ebony Stelly both of Opelousas, LA; three sisters, Etta Rideau, Charlene Rideau and Alphae Rideau all of Opelousas, LA; a special niece, Caprica Rideau Joseph of Opelousas, LA; a Godchild, Tamika Rideau of Las Vegas, NV; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Rideau was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Rideau & Louise Williams Rideau; four brothers, Fred Rideau, Charles Edward Rideau, Charles Ray Rideau and John Otis Rideau; four sisters, Jessie Rose Rideau, Jessie Mae Rideau, Jeanette Davis and Cynthia Marie Rideau. Visiting hours will be observed from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
