Mrs. Martha M. Wright Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Big Cane, LA, for Mrs. Martha M. Wright, 85, who entered eternal rest, Monday, February 7, 2022 at her residence in Lemoyen, LA. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Floyd Racks will officiate the service. Mrs. Wright is survived by one son, Franklin Wright, Jr. (Maryland) of Houston, TX; four daughters, Shelia Uzu (Rowland) of Dallas, TX, Carol A. Eagins of Lafayette, LA, Linda G. Wright of Lemoyen, LA and Martha L. Robinson (Cephus) of Lemoyen, LA; a daughter-in-law, Gertrude Wright of Lake Charles, LA; three brothers, Willie Miller (Jerryleen) of Opelousas, LA, Leo J. Miller of Rosenberg, TX and Lester P. Miller of Opelousas, LA; five sisters, Mildred Jenkins of Beaumont, TX, Mary Alice Hall of Opelousas, LA, Lou Bertha St. Romain of Baytown, TX, Mary Lee Tate of Dallas, TX and Dianna Manning of Beaumont, TX; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; two special nieces, Shirley Mae Wright of Lemoyen, LA and Betty Lou Wright of Lemoyen, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wright; her parents, William Miller & Octavia Thomas Miller; a son, Johnnie Wright; two great grandsons, Xavier Wright and Kyrie Robinson and a sister, Murline Wilrye. Visiting hours will be observed from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Big Cane, LA at 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM.
