Mrs. Mojorie Rubin Tanner “Nan” Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lebeau, LA, for Mrs. Mojorie Tanner, 89, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, November 26, 2020 at her residence in Lebeau, LA. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. Rev. James P. Fallon, SSJ will officiate the Mass of Christian burial. Mrs. Tanner is survived by six sons, Jimmy Tanner (Gail) of Melville, LA, Dennis Tanner (Tina) of Melville, LA, Andrus Tanner of Opelousas, LA, Kenneth Tanner (Elnor) of Plauceville, LA, Jerry Tanner (Ellen) of Lebeau, LA and Randy Tanner of Lebeau, LA; eight daughters, Doretha Rubin of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Hatcher (Billy) of Washington, LA, Shirley Tanner of Bunkie, LA, Patricia Tanner of Lebeau, LA, Brenda Tanner of Lebeau, LA, Carolyn Pickney (Jackie) of Opelousas, LA, Deborah Tanner of Opelousas, LA and Stephanie Tanner of Houston, TX; a brother, Erwin Rubin (Mary) of Opelousas, LA; a sister, Geraldine Espree (Dean) of Houston, TX; twenty seven grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Tanner was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Tanner, Sr.; two sons, Eugene Tanner, Jr. and Michael Tanner; parents, Lamar & Oline Rubin; four sisters, Audrey Beverly, Eva Birotte, Beatrice Green and Betty Colla; three brothers, Ivory, Lamar and Aden Rubin; a granddaughter, Charlotte Rubin and a step-granddaughter, Lashawn Hayes. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
