Mr. Tommy A. Dean, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mr. Tommy A. Dean, Sr., 70, who entered eternal rest, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Kramer, S.J. will officiate the Mass of Christian burial. Mr. Dean is survived by three sons, Michael Dean (Lisa), Curtis Dean (Gwen) and Corey Dean (Jade) all of Opelousas, LA; six daughters, Lashonda Dean, Krystal Dean both of Lafayette, LA, Erica Dean, Tonya Dean, Danielle Antoine (Jeremy) and Lakesha Stewart (Brandon) all of Opelousas, LA; four brothers, Paul Dean (Mary) of Opelousas, LA, James Nero of Winona, MS, Joseph Nero (Anne) of Carencro, LA and David Nero (Kim) of Arnaudville, LA; three sisters, Linda Bergeron (Milton), Lena Dean both of Houston, TX and Annabelle Nero of Lafayette, LA; twenty seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one expected grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Angelle Dean; one son, Tommy A. Dean, Jr.; his mother, Alice Nero Mayfield; his father, Curtis Dean; one brother, Benny Lee Nero, Sr.; one sister, Mary Virginia Charles and a great granddaughter, Kenzlie Stelly. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
