Elder Vincent McCurry Babineaux, Sr. “Mack” Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Elder Vincent “Mack” Babineaux, Sr., 80, who entered eternal rest, Friday, November 6, 2020 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, LA on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Pastor David Walker will officiate the service. Elder Babineaux is survived by his wife, Minister Merlene C. Babineaux; three sons, Minister David Babineaux, Sr. (Sherrie), Johnathon Babineaux (Inga) and Minister Jordan Babineaux; a grandson he reared as his own, Vincent Babineaux, III; two daughters, Agnes Babineaux and Precious Babineaux; two brothers, Warren Babineaux, Jr. and Herbert Collins, Jr; four sisters, Rose Guillory, Merline Davis, Mary Ann Thierry and Jackie four Godchildren, Jessica Chambers, Jennifer Porter, Gabriel Hunt and Eric Lassiter, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elder Babineaux was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Babineaux, Sr. & Clementine Richard Babineaux; five brothers, Howard Babineaux, John Clifton Babineaux, Patrick McNell Babineaux and Berchman Babineaux; four sisters, Ira Mae Thibodeaux, Betty Savoie, Earline Bihm and Norma Jean Colbert; a son, Vincent Babineaux, Jr.; two daughters, Vanessa Babineaux and Rochelle Colomb; a Godson, Donald Savoie and a granddaughter, Applonia Victoria Babineaux. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home.
