Mr. Wilson Thomas Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Wilson Thomas, 79, who entered eternal rest, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Robert Dupre will officiate the services. Mr. Thomas is survived by two children, Cheryl Bean of Omaha, NE and Wilson Darvis Thomas of Kansas City, KS; one brother, Freddie Thomas (Melanie) of Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Eva Thomas and Caldonia Staton both of Opelousas, LA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by parents, Lucius Thomas & Alice Jackson Thomas; a son, Christopher Westbrook; two sisters, Ida Recard and Gladys Bell and one brother, Jimmy Thomas. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church.
