Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Mrs. Annie Mae Williams Our beloved Mrs. Annie Mae Williams, age 92, peacefully entered eternal rest on Friday, October 24, 2025, at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville, surrounded by love and grace. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Little Zion Baptist Church, where she worshiped faithfully. Rev. Calvin Moore, Pastor of Little Zion, will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery, a place close to her heart. Annie Mae was a woman whose faith shone brightly and whose love knew no bounds. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend—always ready with a warm smile, a kind word, and a meal from the heart. Her life was a living example of patience, strength, and the quiet power of prayer. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Henry Jackson (Rose) of Leonville, LA, Russell Williams, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Melissa Anderson of Memphis, TN, Arilla Williams Bell (Harry) of Lafayette, LA and Francis Williams Simmons (Steven) of Atlanta, GA. Her love continues to live on through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless other relatives and dear friends who were blessed to share in her journey. She now rests peacefully with her devoted husband, Rev. Russell Williams, Sr.; her sons, John Lewis Jackson, Charles R. “Piggy” Williams, Joe Alex Williams and Ralph Martin Williams; as well as her cherished granddaughters, Lydia Bell and Geralyn Jackson. The family invites all who knew and loved Annie Mae to gather in remembrance on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Little Zion Baptist Church. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that her work here is done and that she has found rest in the arms of her Savior. Annie Mae’s gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and endless love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
