Mrs. Geneva Broussard Leblanc OPELOUSAS- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Geneva Broussard Leblanc, 79, who entered eternal rest on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell, LA. Fr. Jaison Mangalath, SVD will conduct the Mass of Christian burial. Geneva is survived by three sons, James Michael Leblanc and Joseph Kim Leblanc (Agnes) both of Opelousas, LA and Fredrick Glynn Leblanc (Annie Mae) of Vidrine, LA; two daughters, Gwendolyn L. Mallet and Jennifer L. Caesar (Bruce) both of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Harry Broussard, Jr. of Opelousas, LA and Lawrence Larry Broussard of Abbeville, LA; four sisters, Caldonia Frank and Clara B. Espree both of Lake Charles, LA, Audrey Mae Kennerson of Houston, TX and Barbara B. Ledee (Antoine) of Vallejo, CA; 3 godchildren, L Rubin and Donald Seraille both of Opelousas, LA and Randy Paul Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; three sisters- in-law, Alice Declouette of Lawtell, LA, Willie Mae Landry of Houston, TX and Elnora Guillory of Lake Charles, LA ; six special friends, Margaret White of Lawtell, LA and Jackie Fontenot of Plaisance, LA, Marty Ortego, Paula Bienvenue and Ryan and Glenda Duplechain; a very special cousin, Mary Ann Carrier of Opelousas, LA; a special niece, Felicia Leblanc Sam of Lawtell, LA; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Leblanc, Jr.; parents, Harry Broussard, Sr. and Emma Morris Broussard; one son, Bradford Timothy Leblanc; two brothers, Edward and Ray Anthony Broussard; one sister, Eldria Calligan; a granddaughter, Felicia Comeaux and a great granddaughter, Andrea Rose and a goddaughter, Esther Ruth Woods Brown. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
