Ms. Janice Faye Williams Janice Faye Williams, age 68, passed away peacefully at her residence in Melville, Louisiana, on Friday, December 5, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Melville, LA, with visitation to begin prior to the service at 8:00 AM. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery in Melville, LA. Rev. Brian Keith Alfred will officiate at the services. Janice is lovingly survived by her lifelong companion, Jerome Chambers, Sr. of Melville, LA; two devoted daughters, Santorya Williams of Melville, LA and Khadiejah Williams (Lee) of Ville Platte, LA. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Corey Morgan, Jr. and Cali Morgan both of Melville, LA and a goddaughter, Shawanda Dixon of Melville, LA, each holding a special place in her heart. Janice embraced a son and two daughters with unconditional love, raising them as though they were her own: Daniel Jerome Chambers, Jr. of Palmetto, LA, Candance Chambers of Killeen, TX and Tawanna Perdeu of Angleton, TX. She was further blessed with four dearly loved bonus grandchildren and warmly welcomed four treasured bonus great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Jerry Williams (Cindy) of Melville, LA; two sisters, Doris Williams and Marilyn Williams both of Melville, LA; a dear friend, Ashley Williams of Melville, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lussion Hollins and Roenna Williams Hollins; one sister, Phyllis Williams; two brothers, Anthony Williams and Henry Hollins; a nephew, Leroy Williams and a niece, Jerrylyn Williams. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Carrie Williams, Sr. and her paternal grandparents, Hamp Hollins, Sr. and Elmyra Hollins. In addition, she was preceded by three aunts, Marrion Benford, Carrie Lamark and Ella Mae Williams; four uncles, Leroy Williams, Sr., Elisha Williams, Sr., Willie Benford and Samuel Williams.
