Ms. Latoya Marie Guillory

Latoya Guillory was born on August 28, 1998, in Opelousas, LA, to the late Joyce Gallow and Bobbie Guillory, who raised her with love, strength, and unwavering support. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around her. Whether it was her infectious laughter, her caring nature, or her ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory, she was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. A hardworking and ambitious individual, she held a Class A CDL license and pursued a career in warehouse production at Wal-Mart Distribution Center for 9 years, where her dedication and passion left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. She was deeply committed to her work, always striving to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world. Beyond her professional achievements, Latoya was a woman of many passions. But her most profound passion was connecting with nature. She found an interest in hiking, sound baths, crystals and connecting with her inner self to promote a sense or peace. She loved to travel and was a foodie enthusiast. Whether she was working, traveling or spending time with family and friends, Latoya embraced every experience with enthusiasm and love. More than anything, Latoya was devoted to her family and friends. She cherished her relationships and was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support to those who needed her. Her love for her mother and father knew no bounds, and she took great pride in being a loyal daughter. She is survived by her sisters, Victoria Joubert (Donald) of Plaisance, LA and Otoria Gallow of Opelousas, LA; one uncle, Kevin Guillory (Jackie) of Opelousas, LA; one aunt, Cindy Edwards (Peter); paternal grandfather, Kenneth Guillory of Opelousas, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Gallow and Bobbie Guillory and a sister, Latoria Gallow. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM at the church, prior to the service. Interment will follow in Delafosse Cemetery in Beaver Creek, LA. The Mass will be officiated by Rev. Stanley Jawa, S.V.D.
