Mrs. Mildred Boast Babineaux OPELOUSAS- Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Mildred Boast Babineaux, 89, who entered eternal rest, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. Mrs. Babineaux is survived by her children, nine sons, Joseph Peter Boast (Sarah), Nathan Boast, Jr. (Camille), Joseph Marion Boast (Evelyn), Berchman Babineaux (Joyce), Vincent Babineaux (Merline), Clifton Babineaux (Gail), Warren Babineaux, Jr. and Patrick Babineaux (Racheal) all of Opelousas, LA Alton Boast (Mary Ann) of Lafayette, LA; eleven daughters, Mary Helen Harris, Mary Loubertha Boast, Mary Mildred Victorian, Dora Jean Dominick all of Opelousas, LA, Myrna Mona Boast Smith, Josie Lee Wilson (Donald) , Murlean Davis, Jacqueline Perrodin (Junius), Rose Guillory (Raymond) and Mary Ann Thierry all of Opelousas, LA and Theresa Ann Wright (Rodney) of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters, Bertha Jones of Port Arthur, TX, Vergie Jones and Lorena Savoie (Donald) both of Opelousas, LA; 40 grandchildren, 102 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Mrs. Babineaux was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Savoie & Bertha Mayo Savoie; her first husband, Nathan Boast, Sr.; her second husband, Warren Babineaux; four sons, Linton Boast, Joseph Howard Babineaux, Milton Boast and Wilson Boast, Sr.; five daughters, Earline Bihm, Elizabeth Savoie, Norma Jean Coleman, Ira Mae Thibodeaux and Eula Freeman; three brothers, Leroy Savoie, Sr., Manuel Savoie and Willie Savoie and a sister, Louise Lazard. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 P.M. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 7:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. at Williams Funeral Home.
