Ms. Carrier is survived by her companion, Scotty Roberts of Opelousas, LA; son, David Carrier (Toni) of Opelousas, LA; a daughter, Monika Crowden (Ali) of Opelousas, LA; a step-son, Rakeem Robinson (Faith) of Opelousas, LA; a daughter-in-law, LaQuita Carrier of Dover, DE; two brothers, Clinton Carrier (Linda) of Lafayette, LA and Frederick Carrier, Sr. (Linda) of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Pamela Newman (Howie) and Laura Harrison both of Opelousas, LA; seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ms. Carrier was preceded in death by her son, Quint Carrier, Sr.; her parents, Vincent Carrier and Edna Newman; two nephews, Eric Harrison and Leon Jones, III; a brother, Michael Newman; a sister, Iris Leday; a grandson, David Scott Carrier; an aunt, Doris Newman and her step-father, Dalton Newman.
