Mr. Timothy Chris Brown Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Timothy Chris Brown, 57, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Henry L. Comeaux will officiate the service. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Faye Jones Brown of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Major Lou Ella Cleveland of the United States Army and Captain Juanita Dukes (Kenneth) of the United States Air Force; a step-father, Charlie Frazier of Opelousas, LA; eight brothers, Charles Toussaint (Rose) of Houston, TX, Donald Mallet of Baton Rouge, LA, Joseph Charles Thibodeaux (Doretha) of Houston, TX, Jerry James Thibodeaux (Hyacynt) of Dallas, TX, John Thibodeaux (Anna Lee) of Opelousas, LA, Louis Thibodeaux of Portland, OR, Frank Thibodeaux and Neil Thibodeaux both of Opelousas, LA; three sisters, Kimberly Malbreaux (Carl) of Lafayette, LA, Tammy Soileau (Joseph) of Eunice, LA and Rose Thibodeaux of Houston, TX; seven brothers-in-law, Nelson Jones, Jr. (Theresa) of Houston, TX, Richard Jones (Dorothy) of Houston, TX, Samuel J. Bell (Karen) of Opelousas, LA, Rev. Henry L. Comeaux of Opelousas, LA, Benjamin Joseph Bellard (Lula) of Lafayette, LA, Roosevelt Comeaux (Janice) of Lake Charles, LA and Donald Ray Bellard (Denise) of Slidell, LA; two sisters-in-law, Brenda J. Brown (Archie) and Merlene C. Babineaux (Vincent) both of Opelousas, LA; three grandchildren, Ladajah Fontenette of Lafayette, LA, Lakayla Cleveland of Opelousas, LA and Kenneth Dukes, Jr. of Ocean Springs, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thibodeaux and Mary Mallet; a grandmother, Beatrice Thomas; three brothers, Jack Dale Toussaint, Darryl Wayne Mallet and Kevin Scotty Mallet; three sisters, Patty Lyn Joubert, Melissa Ann Mallet and Elizabeth Wheeler and a special aunt, Cassie O’Conner. Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at St. Paul Baptist Church.
